Our National Team suffered a 2-0 away defeat to Romania on Matchday 4 of the qualifying round. Also on Matchday 4, Austria claimed a 4-0 away victory over San Marino.
The team that finishes first in the group will qualify directly for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup. The second-placed team will enter the play-offs, along with fifteen other teams, with four of them also securing a place in the final tournament.
